Fastest Animals Slowed Down.

Technology is amazing.

There are tonnes of things to marvel at about technology but I would like to focus on the slowed down cameras that can film a cheetah accelerating from 0 to 110 kilometres per hour in 3 seconds and make it 80x slower. In a past posting called, Just A Moment, and Just A Moment Part II, I talked about the in the importance of the camera and how capturing a single second can change your world. What about capturing a few seconds and turning it into a few (slow) minutes? That ability has allowed scientists to study the movement of the fastest animals on earth. BUT it has also allowed us to become hypnotized by the ripple of an animals muscles, the flapping of a birds wings or the popping of a water balloon exposing something never captured by the human eye before. Within a few seconds we see a new beauty of slow movement and what could be revealed is up to Mother Nature…
