Happy Mother’s Day.

For inspiration I went to look up the definition of Motherhood and was unsuccessful at finding one that completely encapsulated the true meaning. And the more I thought about it, the more I realized I can only talk about Motherhood from my own perspective and as much as I would love to tell the world about how fantastic my Mom is (and you are Mom, you are my teacher, my best friend, my hero and the wind beneath my wings. I love you!) it’d be un-entertaining for you. Further to that, it led me to think about the different types of Mother-child relationships and how unique each can be. How the heck could I write a post on a topic that contains so many variables?

Then after a few serendipitous clicks, I was led to this video that contains the true meaning of Motherhood. When you watch this leopard and baby baboon moment, look beyond the Darwin-reality of it and even if only for a few hours, the honest tenderness of this temporary Mother is obvious (despite the situation).

A Mother’s arms are made of tenderness and children sleep soundly in them.
