Lemurs Are Drug Abusers.

Just off the east coast of southern Africa there is an island that is the natural home to an animal who gets stoned on millipede juice. Madagascar’s black lemurs live high in the trees and use the giant millipede as a natural bug repellent - at least that’s what they tell their parents.

The lemur strategically nibbles the head of the insect triggering an attack mode and consequently an oozing of poisonous defense juices. The blitzed primate then rubs the cyanide-filled drug all over its body in a very junkie-like manner. Then, they cruise on the higghhh…

It’s toxic, it’s exotic, it’s addictive and it’s holistic.

    lol … This one is an interesting perspective on lemurs … Never considered it this way before although I am from Madagascar, the land of lemurs :-)
