Numb Toes.

What a day.

It was good, it was bad, and it was ugly…and at the end of day, my toes are numb.

Could it be the time of year?

Could it be the damp chill in the air?

Or bad energy I didn’t know I projected?

Naah. Couldn’t be that - for the bad has nothing really to do with me but the bad seems to be attacking the ones I hold dearest to my heart. So it does make it a slow torture in a weird, plucking out a strand of hair one by one by one, kind of way. It’s annoying, it stings, it’s frustrating and there’s not a damn thing I can do about it - and let’s just face it, the lack of sleep as a result is causing me to look not so pretty and not allowing me time in the morning to do my hair. So the analogy is most accurate.

Not much I can do about the torture of it all, but maybe I can put some messages out there in hopes of helping someone…

BRING WINGS: I wish you to make the right decisions for you and for your family that will allow you to be at peace for once in your life. Being without is hard, but being with sounds harder. Choose right for you.

LANCASTER FAN: I hope that you are able to live the remainder of your life, despite the result, with a whole heart and an acceptance of those things that you cannot change. But change those things that you can change. You are no less a wonderful person and you are a strong woman despite your hardship.

#19: I wish that you can heal from the pain that you have endured, that you hold on to what is true in life and continue to believe in love. Hug your doggies tonight, remember the purity in nature that they contain and lean on them. They are your angels. Stay close to them.

The good? A 8lbs baby boy joined our family at 2am this morning. It was a home birth (which is insane to us non-baby people). Mother and baby are doing wonderful.

Meet William…

If I could only have you near, To breathe a sigh or two, I would be happy just to hold the hands I love, Upon this winter night with you..

-Sarah Mclachlan, A Winter’s Night

There you have it, full circle. My Wolf is sitting on my feet now and I’m starting to get the feeling back in my toes. Thank you…
