When I was 11, my Dad and Mom bought me an interactive world book that was made of partially renewable sources, had fold outs made of crushed trash cans and listed world statistics on things such as poverty and illness. It hit home. Even today it sits in my precious book collection in the room that I grew up in at my parents house in St. Catharines, Ontario. I just couldn’t bring myself to throw it out.
Now, another message about the world’s decay sits in front of me. The difference is that this time, I have the ability to share it with the few readers of my blog so I feel like I have (somewhat) of a voice here.
Imagine taking those massive population statistics and putting them into numbers on a much smaller scale. Imagine the scale as being 100 people…
